About the product
bun SKY BRIDGE is a plug and play solution for adding web interface, cloud data logging and unlimited range alarm functionality to devices with ordinary dry contact (on / off). bun SKY BRIDGE can both record the state of the on / off output of a machine or switch with time stamp and send push notifications (email, text message and automated phone call alarm) to an unlimited number of recipients around the globe.
It comes with one Digital On/Off passive and active input (3-12V), one Analog 4-20 mA loop, and unlimited cloud storage.
bun SKY BRIDGE automatically syncs data to the cloud. It can be coupled with any type of measurement instrument / sensor / transducer with 4-20 mA Current Loop output to effectively upgrade legacy or low-cost instruments and convert them into smart cloud-based (internet / Wi-Fi enabled) solutions with recording and alarm function.
As it connects directly to Wi-Fi, bun SKY BRIDGE eliminates the need for a gateway or radio data concentrator.
bun SKY BRIDGE is powered by 2 replaceable AA batteries for up to 6 years*. An external power pack is also available. This enables more frequent data uploads and preserves battery as a backup only.
All settings can be setup through a web-based application on any platform and adjusted remotely.
bun SKY BRIDGE sends out email, text messages and phone call alarms as soon as the thresholds are exceeded or fall below those pre-set, allowing you to take action.
The advantage of automatically logging frequent data (every 1 minute to 120 minutes) is the ability to access historical records including graphs and periodical reports for reporting and review without the manual labour.
Both hardware and software installation are simple and do not require any specific tools, professional installers, or applications. See further information on features included in all bun family products.
Note: Recommended ambient conditions are required for the device to stay fully operational. These operations include being able to connect and sync with the cloud.
