About the product
bun PHARMA is a temperature recorder and alarm system with one internal sensor -15°C to +70°C (5°F to +160°F) and one external sensor -24°C to +75°C (-11°F to +167°F).

It comes with a NIST traceable calibration test certificate and is tagged with a unique identification number that enables online lookup of the certificate. The certificate is valid for 24 months in storage and 12 months in use. The detachable external sensor can be replaced with a new sensor and a fresh certificate in 10 seconds by the user.

The detachable external temperature sensor in a stainless-steel pocket with or without 10 ml Ethyl alcohol capsule and comes with a 1.5 metre (5 ft.) length cable. Both internal and external sensors provide temperature measurement accuracy of ± 0.5°C (± 0.9°F).

bun PHARMA is powered by 2 replaceable AA batteries for up to 6 years* and connects directly to Wi-Fi. An external power pack is also available. This enables more frequent data uploads and preserves the battery as a backup only.

All setting parameters such as – measurement intervals, upload intervals, minimum, and maximum allowed temperature thresholds – can be set through a web-based application on any platform and adjusted remotely.

bun PHARMA sends out email and text message alarms as soon as the thresholds are exceeded or fall below those pre-set, allowing you to take action.

The advantage of automatically logging frequent data (every hour to once per week, or on demand) is the ability to access historical records including graphs and periodical reports for reporting and review without the manual labour.

Both hardware and software installation are simple and do not require any specific tools, professional installers, or applications. See further information on features included in all bun family products.

Note: ambient condition are required for the device to stay fully operational. These operations include being able to connect and sync with the cloud and send out alarms. However, the device can continue recording the data in its internal memory while in temperature measurement range.
