About the product
bun ALARM is an automatic phone dialler, text message (SMS) and email alarm system. It can dial and message unlimited recipients simultaneously. It does not require power or a phone line and has no monthly maintenance cost!
It comes with one digital input and can monitor a switch, a duress button, a relay, a PLC or any other source with a dry contact output. It uses Wi-Fi to connect to a 24/7 server which manages all communications.
Activity logs (alarm triggers on / off) are reported with a timestamp and synced to the cloud. These can be accessed via the web-based application from any device / platform and adjusted remotely. Wi-Fi connection is tested in adjustable intervals to ensure constant service.
bun ALARM is powered by 2 replaceable AA batteries for up to 6 years* and connects directly to Wi-Fi. An external power pack is also available. This enables more frequent data uploads and preserves the battery as a backup only.
The advantage of automatically logging data is the ability to access historical records including graphs and periodical reports for reporting and be able to review without the manual labour.

Note: Ambient condition are required for the device to stay fully operational. These operations include being able to connect and sync with the cloud and send out alarms. However, the device can continue recording the data in its internal memory while in temperature measurement range.
